History

At the beginning of the twentieth-century, the Magini family opened an inn in Seggiano, near Pescina, to welcome the very first visitors to Mount Amiata. The inn’s strongpoint was its cuisine, offering typical, local dishes, the most sought-after speciality naturally being “Scottiglia”.
